Come and support your favourite team in the EHF EURO fan zones

It is just four days to go until the EHF EURO 2016 throws off across Poland, and an entire country is anticipating the arrival of the 16 best European handball teams to showcase their skills.

Matches in Krakow's TAURON Arena - Group A, the main round and the final weekend - as well as in the Centennial Hall in Wroclaw - Group C and the main round - have been sold out for weeks, and also the arenas in Gdansk and Katowice will be close to being full.

With so many tickets being sold, if you are among the ones without one but are in Poland, your best guess to catch the action are the hosting cities' fan zones.

There is one each of them, offering not only live coverage of matches also loads of activities for fans to have a bit of fun.

All fan zones open on 15 January and close after the final on 31 January 2016.

  • the fan zone in Krakow is located on the Małym Rynku in the centre of town and open everyday between 14:00 and 23:00 hours
  • the fan zone in Katowice is located at Placu pod Spodkiem just outside the Spodek arena and is open from everyday from 17:00 to 23:00 hours. It already opens at 15:00 on 15, 17, 20 and 29 January.
  • the fan zone in Wroclaw is located at Placu Pod Iglicą just outside the Centennial Hall and is open daily from 17:00 to 23:00 hrs. It already opens at 15:00 on 15, 17, 20 and 29 January.
  • the fan zone in Gdansk is located at Targu Węglowym in the centre of Gdansk and is open everyday from 17:00 to 23:00 hrs. It already opens at 15:00 hrs on 15,17, 20 and 29 January.
